Chartwell (1957-2019) was a mbira master. Chartwell grew up playing for the ancestral spirits in his homeland Zimbabwe. Since 1994 Chartwell has been teaching mbira at SOAS, Bath Spa University and many other universities in Britain, US and Europe.
Jori Buchel is a mbira player from the Netherlands.
